Two Decades of Feeding the Village
West Village Finest Deli opened its doors in 1998 on a street that already knew how to appreciate a good sandwich. We didn't come in with a gimmick — we came in with a butcher, a baker, and a stubborn refusal to cut corners.
The same recipes our founder brought from the Upper West Side deli counters still guide everything we do. But the neighborhood has changed around us, and so have we — adding a proper coffee program, a late-night spirits menu, and a wine list that makes this more than a lunch stop.
What hasn't changed is the line out the door at 12:30 on a Tuesday. That's not marketing. That's just what happens when you serve the best in the neighborhood, every single day.
